The application "SCAN IT!" provides an accessible platform for exploring augmented reality (AR) content. By simply pointing an iPhone at designated AR markers or compatible flat images—such as product packaging, posters, newspapers, or magazines—users can engage with various AR experiences without any cost.

When an iPhone camera detects these markers or images, it enables a range of interactive features including video playback, hyperlinks to related web pages, and the emergence of virtual content within the AR space.

Viewing AR markers or specified images through the iPhone camera overlays virtual elements onto the real environment, creating an immersive experience.
